Environmental Education

Pickle Knoll Outdoors offers environmental education classes to teach about the natural world. We visit classrooms, after school programs, senior centers, and more to discuss a range of topics relating to our environment. The goal is to connect people with their surroundings by engaging them with their local ecosystem.

“I greatly enjoyed Lily as the educator in our room. She was clearly knowledgeable about the topics she shared with the students. Her delivery of the material was concise and thorough. Additionally, she was engaging to the students and encouraging in the learning process. She was animated when she talked to them and always valued their voice. She has great classroom management, which is not a small feat in my class!”

We will travel to anyone interested in learning. We bring all craft/activity supplies. Although indoor lessons are often more accessible, we love bringing students outside for nature walks. Together we explore nature, identify plants, and learn about our backyards. Click below to contact me about environmental education!
